Bonnie Gore for Placer County Supervisor

From Supervisor Bonnie Gore:

Placer County - and the First District, specifically - is one of the best places in the world to live, work and raise a family.

I am proud of all we’ve accomplished together: we’ve built safe neighborhoods, a strong local economy, and a way of life we’re proud of.

On the Board of Supervisors, and as Mayor of Roseville before that, I have always embraced what makes Placer County so special: our community, our trust in one another, and our shared values. I’ve built strong partnerships with local leaders across the political spectrum, and I’m committed to protecting everything we’ve built by keeping that collaboration front and center.

I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.

Bonnie’s Priorities

Keep Neighborhoods Safe

Keeping Placer County families safe has always been my number one priority. As your Supervisor, I have pushed major investments in our Sheriff’s Department and Fire Department to ensure our first responders have the tools and manpower they need to keep us safe.

Addressing Homelessness

We all know it’s not compassionate to let individuals live and die on the streets. While some outsiders may want us to adopt Bay Area homeless policies like needle exchanges and park camping, I pledge to push for real solutions that get people off our streets and into treatment for mental health and drug addiction.

Supporting Local Businesses and Job Creation

Placer County is one of the best places in the state to work and start a business, but we can always improve our business environment. I pledge to be a fighter for local businesses against government overreach and over-taxation. We MUST continue to support our local businesses to ensure we have jobs and opportunities for our residents.

Making Your Tax Dollars Work for YOU

I have always been - and will continue to be - a judicious steward of your tax dollars. You entrust your government with your hard-earned dollars and expect service to match the investment. The State of California continues to tax us immensely and we rarely see the direct benefit of those dollars. That will not be the case in Placer County as long as I am on the Board of Supervisors.
